I did encounter a mis fire issue after getting the knife wet, but all was resolved after spraying brake cleaner down into it, and then a little wd-40. Now it works better than new. A slight bit faster. I noticed the clip gets loose from time to time, i just finger tighten it. The blade has a slight bit of side to side play but is still very solid and strong. Fun little knife to impress a friend with. I’ve pretty much carried it since purchase until today and the only real negative things I have to say is that it was a little difficult to sharpen but seems a sharpening stone was the way to go with this one, and two of the housing screws have fallen out. Minor things but something I noticed. Loc tight might be used to fix that later. The paint is fading a little around the release but Again, I’ve been flipping this thing a lot. Definitely great for protection in my opinion.
Important to know, the blade will not release and go into you. It may puncture skin but the blade stops if it comes into contact with something and will just need reset and works again perfectly.
With all that said, I bought two, one for my dad as a gift. He’s not as hard on his and hasn’t experienced any issues yet.
