This Lightning Elite has a satin finished drop point blade.
The Lightning Elite is a double-action OTF knife that's a step above the original Lightning. It looks much the same, but the parts on the inside have been refined, polished, and lubricated to provide a smoother, faster action than ever before. With a close look, you can see that the blade has a fuller ground into it, making it lighter, and even faster when opening and closing.
Customer Reviews
Being a machinist, programmer, design guy, for the money it's by far the best deal going.
You can compare these to a Benchmark, Microtech, or any of the
current popular OTF'S out there but its really not fair as those
are made mostly from unatainium and metals that are very hard to
machine, cast, process etc..
I don't even think about using this Elite Drop point
model for anything pryin,
paint cans, dressin fish and critters.
On the hand the Microtech I've got I'm afraid to use the damn
high-dollar thing on anything lol.
The other main argument I hear is "would you trust your life
on that knife" Well all the Hardcore folks I know that have to
trust their life on a knife carry two or more knifes on them
with at least one Fixed Blade knife thats what they trust!
So for urban EDC and practical use this Elite model does
it for me, and if you feel the need to have another knife
strapped to your leg the F-16 works well(Bayonet Blade)me
a Hellcat in 9mm is what I trust lol.

The surprise is as cheap as this knife was, it still works! It has outlasted 2 others (Titan and AKC F16) and still fires reliably after a lot of real work use in dirty conditions.
I am going to do a detailed review of this knife and compare it to the others on my YouTube Channel. (Scottnra) Grindworkx will be pleased haha.
The only question is; now that autos are LEGAL in VA, what will I chose next?
