I bought one of these beauties in 1970 in Paris, from a little 'hole in the wall' store, for $20 bucks, and it was the best automatic knife I ever had. It was stolen from my home in a burglary in 2004. I found another one here, and bought it. It still has the same top notch quality as the original one, and actually less expensive than the original, when adjusting for inflation. The great folks here @ Bladeplay/Grindworks took my order and my new knife arrived ahead of schedule. I couldn't ask for anything more!! Thanks Grindworks!!

Just received this knife the other day. Exactly as advertised. Very fast and solid lockup, very well made. My first French knife and a nice addition to the collection. The textured brass liners are a nice touch.
