 The US2612S is manufactured by United Cutlery. The knife is spring assisted ---give the blade a push via the thumb-stud and the knife does the rest--- and the action is quick and lock-up is formidable. It's obvious care has been taken in regard to both the design and the build.
The blade is 440 stainless steel, tanto style and bead blast finished (kind of smoked look on this on). Black G-10 handles cover the stainless liners. The US2612S has a pocket clip (tip down) for easy carry. This is a great budget spring assist knife that will not disappoint.
