CRKT's Russ Kommer designed 2-Shot fixed blade skinner knife is one of Kommer's favorite custom knife/sheath packages. He has used the 2-Shot daily in the field as a hunting guide in Alaska and around the world. As Russ says: "I've always preferred a smaller semi-skinner, even for the biggest of game. You just use the hump near the end of the blade to locate your index finger. And the blade is short enough that you can work inside the animal and feel where you are at all times."
The 2-Shot features a full-tang Sandvik 12C27 blade and stainless steel bolsters, both mirror polished for ease of cleaning. The hand-finished orange G10 handles are fitted with stainless steel pins and are contoured for comfortable performance.
The leather sheath on the 2-Shot is rather special, it is a horizontal carry sheath with room for two cartridges. The two pockets will handle ammunition from .243 up to .338. The sheath is convertible for left or right carry.
