The first thing you'll notice when you get your knife is that the box is shaped like an AK-47 magazine ("Kalashnikov" is the name of the Russian general who designed the AK-47 assault rifle). Awesome and clever packaging for one of Boker's finest knives.

This Kalashnikov knife features an exclusive dagger blade with a copper finish. The AUS-8 stainless steel blade is double-edged with just one edge sharpened (the other edge is used to fold the blade closed). The comfortable handle is black finished aluminum with molded finger grips and jimping where the handle and blade meet. The design is thin, elegant and comfortable. The action of this knife is first rate and comparable to that of the Boker Magnum series. As with other Kalashnikov knives, this one comes with a pocket clip for easy tip-up carry.

Black Boker Kalish with Copper Blade
Walt C.
I had this knife for 4 years, then, lost it last week and that sickens me. It was my go to blade for everything from opening packages, cutting rope, plastic, you name it, I cut it when I needed this dependable blade. It opened in a flash and NEVER gave me one bit of trouble plus, everyone that saw it, wanted it or one like it, so, told them to go to Blade Play. I believe they did because this knife is out of stock and I could have bought one a month ago just because and now that mine's gone, I'm kicking myself. You cannot go wrong with this automatic knife from Boker.
