The paint job is much better than most of the cheap knives you find, it won't scratch off easily by keeping it in your pocket.
The blade came rather dull, but was easily sharpened thanks to the tanto blade style. While the blade is stainless steel, it is the best stainless steel you can get for this price (1040 I believe) and is much harder than the Lightning, which my grinding wheel would grind through like butter.
The action on the trigger spring is slightly lighter on the Titan, but the deploy speed is quicker. This is due to a better carriage design and better lubrication.
It is slightly thicker than the lightning (1.35cm to 1.5cm) and is the same width.
The blade play is roughly the same, with the Titan having slightly less.
The pocket clip is made with a much harder steel, and won't dis form if you bend it.
My knife did come with a rather large chip in the paint when I got it, but I will not deduct stars for this, as it is not the fault of the knife, but rather BladePlay.
In summation, get this knife while they last (or at least remain this cheap). If you are having reservations about the price, know that you are getting a knife that is worth well over $40, and will last you several years of proper usage.
