The drop point blade is made of 440 stainless steel, has a black powder coat finish, and is embossed with the police emblem. The lightweight black aluminum handle scales have a metallic blue inset with the police emblem mounted inside. The handle has both contours and jimping to enhance the grip and add a measure of safety. The blade opens with either the flipper or thumb stud and locks securely into place with the liner lock mechanism.
