I purchased to use as a quick replacement knife at work to cut down boxes. It is super sharp and flicks open with a fair amount of ease.

I grabbed one of these because it was on sale. Overall very happy. Sale went perfectly as usual with BladePlay. Very good steel, quick run over a stone and it is sharp enough to shave with. Tight lock-up with no slop, and solid feel in your hand. Steel liner which should give decent service life. S&W is not what it used to be, so if you expect the product they made 20 yrs ago, you'll be disappointed. But if you are looking for an inexpensive, sturdy tool to keep in your pocket,this should do the job.
