The only problem i have with this blade is that some of the pins started to come loose, and this happened when i first started flipping it as well.

I love this butterfly knife to death! Definitely an amazing beginner but the only problem I have, is that the latch is a bit loose but no interference, overall a good knife

First off, love bladehq and bladeplay...this is the first 1 star rating i've ever given. I don't fault bladeplay, but the supplier obviously pulled one over on them. The red scoundrel balisong I received was not any sort of 440 stainless steel. It smelled like a lead mixture and even bent from a straight position to a complete 180 by my hand strength...think a knife in the shape of a U!!! lol not going to ask for a refund as I've spent much more on microtech autos and benchmade balisongs and don't want to waste the time to start a refund process...just a heads up for anyone looking to buy. Possibly the steel was not tempered, but even then I do not think it possible to bend the blade like I did by hand. Plenty of nice cheap balisongs here, the sandstorm and skipper models are the most smooth flippers I've had since my benchmade, way smoother than most out there and at $13 bucks!! Thanks and have nice day! =]

It came razor sharp and I had cut myself within a minute of pulling it out of the box. It's heavy which feels great when flipping it and learning new tricks is really easy. So worth the $18!
Worth the money, couple fixes!!!

This is definitely worth the cost as the handles are solid that are pined, so the only thing likely to happen is a pin will fall out which case you can re-pin them with ease. the only down side is that the latch will touch the blade and get in the way of some flips, but this shouldn't be a edc knife only a practice knife so just put a rubber band on the latch and your good to go.
Cheap and great Quality also worth buying

For $13 I honestly didn't expect much. I was wrong. Out of the box after flipping it open a few times, it was VERY smooth. This is definitely worth the price and will last a while if taken care of. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or buy another version, such as the stainless handle version if it were to become available again.
Not bad for the price

Delivery was quick and the knife came in the classic nylon sheath in a box. The only complaint I have is that the paint chips very easily and it makes the handle kind of slick when you flip it. Otherwise the blade is decently sharp out of the box and holds an edge. Good beginner flipper for the price.
