I would just disregard the other review, it made me laugh. this is a small little spring knife and sure I can see it being dangerous especially if your gonna give it to your toddler its pretty sharp. if you don't want something that could be dangerous don't buy it. lol but I'm here to tell ya, you probably got a bigger and just as sharp of knife sitting in your kitchen drawer but my suggestion to you Joel C. don't buy knives cause it sounds like you could hurt yourself very easily if you think this little @#$@$% is dangerous.

I was surprised to find the blade partially deployed when I opened the bubble wrap envelope it was shipped in. I soon discovered why. The release button sits almost a quarter of an inch above the handle just begging to be pushed by the slightest contact: Dangerous. Also, the hole for a lanyard/key chain loop is useless as the blade passes through it on closure!!??: Dis-functional. IMO - not worth the $7.99(sale) I paid even as a "fun novelty item". Don't even think about clipping it in to your pocket unless you want an unscheduled vasectomy.
