M-Tech Cord-Wrapped Karambit Fixed Blade Knife - Darkwash Plain

I have most of the M Tech Karambit and karambit style knives and with the notable exception of the silver washed one similar to this one which I plan to order soon. Given that, this is my favorite of all the knives so far. It's quite a bit thinner bladed than the others, so it does require a bit more delicacy, but the shape, color, stone wash finish, simple design, and general sleekness makes this one a winner in my book. The sheath leaves a bit to be desired, the belt loop wrap up to the very top making this a full view weapon, no concealing this thing if you wear it properly. Fortunately I made my own sheath with hard foam, spray on ABS plastic, felt, and a strip of leather. The one I was able to piece together works great for me, but I do like the old sheath in some regards. For open carry it works great, and it's hard stitched composition makes it flexible and rarely uncomfortable in any position.


I would recommend this knife to someone who wants a practical, small, well curved karambit with a beautiful finish. It may not be up to heavy duty tasks due to its build, but for cutting things precisely or for self defense it is an excellent tool.

I shopped around and found Blade Play. I was impressed by the speedy delivery of this product. Being in Hawaii I thought I'd wait at least a week for my order, but no it came in less. For the price of this karambit I am happy! I got one for my son too, I'll definitely order more blades from blade play again! Thank you!

It is a good knife, but I forgot to read the description, so I was surprised when I saw the length but then I got used to it. It comes sharp but does not have the best point. It is still great and is very affordable.
