The weight of this knife is very heavy, and the blade is near razor sharp out of the box. If you're on a budget and want a heavy duty flipper, this knife will do the trick. The only cons to this knife are some bladeplay movement, and the latch being a tad loose. Other than that, this knife is good for under $30. My next purchase will be a thinner and lighter butterfly knife preferably made in the USA.

Classic Jaguar butterfly knife. This thing is pretty heavy, and will not hesitate to take your finger off. If you've messed around with sub $20 balisongs and want something big and sturdy, cant beat this one. Truly a beautiful hand fedora.
Like it says, its ok.

It's not a really good knife, I have to squeeze it to get it to latch while open, and while closing the inside of the handles hit the blade, which is going to end up dulling it very fast. The handle already had "play" in them when I opened the box, meaning they move apart slightly. the whole construction is slightly loose, and the handles are bigger then expected, but that's my fault not there's. I wouldn't call it tan, yellow by any means, its straight dingy silvery aluminum color to my eyes, and has a glossy matte finish. Lots of machining marks are visible from the factory. its something to flip, but I worry that its going to fall apart rather quickly, tho its a heavy knife, it feels light in construction. The only highly redeemable quality is it is sharp as all hell, just a step or 2 under being able to shave hair, most of my complaint is with the handles, the blade is rather nice, tho like I stated before its going to dull very quickly because the handle slams on the blade during flipping. overall, its just ok, its something to flip if you dont have alot of cash, personally I'd recommend that you save a little more and get a better one, I wish I had.
Very nice knife !

This butterfly knife is great ! I've had no problems with it at all,it swings very fast and swift, and it's extremely sharp ! I've cut my self 9 times on accident with this knife, definitely not a beginners knife that for sure. This knife is silver and it's very nice, I use this knife mainly for cutting boxes and wood. Anyways, over all its a very great knife for the price :D

For those complaining about the latch getting on the blade, it doesn't if you use it right. The knife does have a solid feel and its movements are very swift. Great Price and very sharp serrations.

...one of the first butterfly makers. Quality made through out. If the safety bothers you then you don't know how to use it. The serrations cut like sharks teeth through a surfers leg! Hell ya, buy yours now...
Great for the price

It's a very heavy and tough knife. When closed there is absolutely no play in the blade at all. The latch is fairly annoying though since there are no latch gates. Other than that it's a great knife for the price. Obviously doesn't compare to a benchmade and such but this would be great knife for beginners or intermediate.
love it

Is strong. I use on quite everything. The only bad thing is that the safety will get on the way of the blade.
