Pretty good knife

Sharp and quick. Good lockup upon open. I'd give this a 5 star rating, but no safety makes me nervous about using it as EDC knife. However, great for out in the garage. Comes in real handy for those one handed situations. Keep it on a handy shelf. With a safety would be a great knife. Get one! Great price!

So im a knife guy, I love knives. I have very high standards for knives. The blade is perfect, the pocket clip is perfect, the opening is smooth an perfect, and the blade design is perfect. The blade is razor sharp. You could easily shave with it. My only complaint is the blade centering when folded into the handle, its off to the right just a tad and occasionally scrapes the side. Though, with most knives, this is a manufacture flaw, not a design flaw. This is just a flaw with my knife. Not a hard fix. If you have the money, add it to the cart.

Inexpensive knife but am very pleased with it. Works smoothly and seems well made.

Budget automatics are usually crap. This knife is NOT. At this price point DA dominates. I will be buying another. Solid lockup, fast, and blade play is almost nonexistent.
Took a Chance

I was ordering a $130+ knife from BladePlay and figured,"what the hell, for another $25 I'll take a chance and get this one as well." I wasn't disappointed! Probably the best $25 I have spent in awhile.

Previous reviewers have compared this knife to the ProTech Godfather series (I own a Godfather "Tuxedo" model) and the comparison is justified. Ever so slightly smaller, and with a variation of the blade design, this is the $25 equivalent of a $200 to $400 ProTech.

Having just received it I have no idea how it will stand up under the test of time but for now I am extremely happy with my $25 investment. Smooth, quick action, very sharp blade. This is one of the nicest knives I have seen coming out of China in a long time. Get one while they last!!!
PS: Once again I am extremely impresses with the quick delivery I ALWAYS get when ordering from BladePlay.com or BladeHQ.com. These are people you can trust!

Great knife right out of the box; solid construction, fast action and razor sharp. Definitely worth the money and more.

Great Automatic Knife

Excellent entry-level automatic knife. Nice smooth opening action, sharp blade, very solid. These are also great utility knives for when you need your other hand free while working. A great deal at $25!!
pretty cool knife,
Feels pretty good in hand, looks decent made, blade comes out good.I wish there was free shipping again....
Very Nice For The Price!

So, yes, I have a Carbon Fiber GodFather. This is not it. However, it is not bad at all. Bought a couple of these for Christmas gifts and I think one of them is going to remain with me for a "car knife". The action is fast and it locks hard. The handle is nice, and the blade is well ground and sharp. Is it a ProTech? No, but for the price (over $200 less) it is a really nice automatic. I think it is absolutely worth the price. Get a ProTech if you have the scratch, if not, I think one of these will serve you well.
Very great knife for the price

I got this on a whim and was very pleased. It is a good size for an EDC, the steel is sharp and holds a very good edge considering the price of the knife. It is my favorite EDC out of the 3 or so I use for that purpose yet it is cheapest of the three by far. My one issue and reason for ranking it 4 out of 5 is that it has a delay in the deployment once in a while. It happens perhaps 1 out of 10 times. But if you oil the springs it takes care of most of that issue. The knife locks firmly in place with no play in the blade, the button is deep enough that it has never opened up accidentally despite the fact I carry it in my back pocket everyday. All in all, a fantastic knife that you would be crazy to not get.

Nice to see a new complete design. I have this one and the green. I've decided to get the others. I love the recessed button. Unlike the bulbous button on a stiletto auto, it's unlikely to open in your pocket! I only wish the blade was 3/4" longer.

As a new customer I must comment on Bladeplay and this knife. Customer service is clearly above average in quality. Note that I "cut my teeth" in customer service. Well done, Badeplay.
The Dark Angel hit all of the right points. Assisted opening knives have served well until finding these. Auto knives are new to me. That said, I was very pleased to have purchased two of these; a great gift. After a few weeks of daily use it shows no sign of deterioration; blade deflection, etc.

I also bought one of the Lightening OTF semi auto knives. I favor that knife over the two by a slim margin. This cynical, analytical man is very pleased.
Hurry up!!!

I know these knives go VERY quick and it takes quite a while before they're available again... Pick one up A.S.A.P. ! They are fun and they have a very solid lockup! Mine was extremely sharp out of the box and has maintained that edge for the few months I've had it. I have used it quite a few times and it is ready for work EVERY time!!! I am very picky about the "tools" I use and this one gets the job done. While looking "kick-ass" !
Great value

The best 18 dollars I've ever spent on a knife. You would be nuts not to have one at this price.

I just received this knife it fires very very hard with solid lock-up. Very sharp out of the box, however I sharpened it more and I never knew that you could get 440 to be so sharp. It's like a razor. I will be ordering more in different colors.
as described...

...just as described. Razor sharp, point blade for combat. This is an excellent copy of the: "Protech GodFather" series of knives. Snaps open fast. Locks up tight. Extremely fantastic priced for this class of blade. A must have for your collection. Buy now...
Great knife awesome deal!!!

I've owned this knife now for several months. I love it. Fast action snaps right open, razor sharp out of the box like it supposed to be. Solid lock up. I strongly recommend getting this knife before it sells out and you won't be disappointed a must have. Good for the price and free shipping- that's the best of Bladeplay. I'm satisfied with my purchase no complaints here.
