The Scoundrel Butterfly Knife is heavy-duty and very durable! These knives are heavy and feel great when flipping. Speckled Blue solid metal handles (skeletonized for that classic butterfly look), stainless blade with a satin finish. The blue splash on these knives is really flashy, and it looks awesome. Includes nylon sheath. These are great flippers at a great price. Impress all your friends and foes when you whip this thing around.
Customer Reviews
PS. cut myself when i first go the knife...
This knife is a very good, and reliable one. The blade is actually very sharp, and has a good point to it. After frequent use, the tip got chipped, and the blade could use a sharpening. The design on it is really good looking in my opinion. It's nice and heavy, so if you want a lighter knife I'd look somewhere else. It has a tang pin construction which I love. It also does not have a sandwich construction, so each handle is only one piece of metal. (That's what makes it so durable) The paint does chip easy, but that has not turned out to be a problem for me.
The blade sometimes sticks to the handle, which is how I got my first two cuts, but frequent flipping has fixed that. It also sometimes squeaks, which I have no problem with, and has been fixed with frequent flipping. The top pin has fallen out more than once. I have used superglue to fix this problem, which holds for quite a while. So all in all I really do enjoy this knife, and no doubt I would buy it again if need be, (which I don't think will be necessary)
