I've studied this knife from the official Bear & Son website and I'm curious, is this a genuine Bear & Son knife?

I bought this knife right after christmas, looking for a cheap, quality balisong. It flipped great... for awhile. After about a month the bite handle cracked. And after a few more weeks, the handle broke completely.

Its a great flipper, the feel is amazing. The texture of the knife is good and as far as the blade to handle ratio it feels really balanced. It's better made than my dads 30 year old benchmade. For the price you can not beat this knife. Only downside I see is that its a one sided edge.
An ok knife

Before I start with what's wrong with the knife I'm going to tell you about the positives and who i would recomend the knife for. The knife is good for beginners and intermediate people. The knife does have weight to it which can either help you preform tricks, the knife loosens up nicely for easy movement and fluency, and over all looks and feels nice. Now for the negatives. The knife will not hold an edge on it even though I have tried a few times, the knife collects rust rather easily even though I take care of it and have never gotten it wet, the latch will flip to the inside when closing sometimes and hit the edge, the metal is soft and when it is dropped it does bend. Over all when this knife is broken in is fun to play with.
