It is a good budget knife overall. Great for beginners but there are a couple problems. The latch has no spring so while flipping it you may chip the blade on the latch if it gets caught between the blade and the bite handle. After heavy use, the safe handle's bottom portion that the latch goes into WILL BEND SHUT. The handles are heavy metal but the metal seems soft as the bottom of the handle after dropping it a few time, will bend and you will be unable to fit the latch in. Additionally you can bend it back but there is a high risk of you snapping off a portion of the handle. Besides that minor detail the knife is great, comes razor sharp and absolutely slathered in grease, the tang is held by pins not screws which is what you need, overall one of the best budget knives I've used.
A very good investment
