This knife needs more grip geometry. The spring is so stiff the knife just slides forward even when I death grip it .... a bit frustrating, hoping it gets smoother in time. (if your hand is a little sweaty, forget it)

Your hand grips on the smooth edges, and the grip geometry is on the flat narrow surfaces.

Very sharp, very little slop in the blade and a decent price.

I bought this knife actually on somewhat of an impulse and I was totally surprised on the quality! I wasn't really expecting much for the low price but the knife is fast, solid and perfect for an in-pocket carry. I gave it a little gun lube like I usually do with a new knife and it really didn't need it. My second surprise was that it was double action! The description just said OTF. I'm REALLY glad I purchased this one!!

This knife is inexpensive but far from cheap. It has a good solid feel and the blade action is great. It's worth every penny and in my opinion under priced. The blade has a dual action, it automatically slides both out and back in. A lot of other OTF's that cost more left me disappointed, only sliding out, making me have to manually slide it back in. Get it, you won't regret it.

Got the knife horrible finish looked like it was used for a month and put in the shipping bag but action is fast and blade play was minimal customer service is amazing willing to hand pick one out to replace it

I purchased this knife in early January along with the AKC OTF DA knife that costs double the price of the Lightning. I used both knifes on numerous occasions and I must say that this knife trumps it. The action is faster, more solid and hardly slips off the tracks compared to the other one. I'm very impressed with it that I'll be purchasing more soon.

P.S. If you get them with black blades, they will get scuffed from use.
