The Boker Kalashnikov is inspired by the Kalashnikov rifle. This one has a black-finished, D2, reverse tanto blade and a black aluminum handle with black hardware and a black, deep-carry pocket clip. Its handle is contoured to feel great in your hand and promises a secure grip with jimping on its top and bottom. The Kalashnikov honors its namesake with a build you can count on.

I bought this knife in March of 2014. It was my first automatic knife after the laws were changed in Texas (Sept 2013). It has held up over five and a half years of abuse. I get comments all the time over the wharncliffe blade.
If you're looking for a good knife, this is it.

This knife is surprisingly light.
Fits well in the hand, and deployment is just right without a safety. The pocket clip is for deep, tip up carry and is a pleasure to put away or draw.

The factory edge is fantastic, and the spring is quite strong.

For 40 bucks this knife is a pleasure to own.

First boker for me and I am impressed. I wasn't sure about the handle because of those rubber things it just looks kinda klumpy in the pic. But the handle is sweet, the coating on the aluminum is nice and you almost forget it's made from aluminum. Those three grip strips are clean and really make it a comfortable knife to hold. The spring is super strong and the blade fires so hard. For a wharncliffe its got a super sharp point fully capable of puncturing a car tire. Also cool feature is the lanyard hole and clip are in the position to have knife clipped to you're pants and pull straight out using a paracord lanyard. I'm buying another boker knife for sure. Glad I got this one when I did. Not many wharncliffe autos out there especially ones this cool.
