For $9.99 you can't set your expectations high, but this is a great deal nonetheless. A little squeaky but great for getting into flipping without paying 4x, 5x, or 10x the price.
Meh at best

Picked this up on sale for $10 bucks. It's cool looking, but that's about all I like about it. It's heavy, and the latch stopped working within a day. For ten bucks I'm not mad, but there's better options. Try the skipper, it's like two dollars more but such a better knife.

I bought this knife after breaking the third flick that I’ve brought. I didn’t think I would like the green handle but surprisingly it gives that cool Retro look. For two dollars more than the flick it’s an outstanding buy. The blade is very strong and the weight of the knife makes it very smooth to work.
It's ok

Right out of the box, it doesn't work. One side flips nice and the other could not be opened at all. I finally got it opened with some force and a tiny pry bar. It now opens and flips pretty good.
The latch is plastic but it works. The knife leaves a lot to be desired.
The blade itself came out of the box covered in what appears to be polishing compound. After cleaning everything, it looks half decent.
If I lost this today would I buy a replacement? Nope.
I think you should have one and believe me this is worth the money But... It isn't a great knife but a half decent training blade with a little work. With that said, I think you should buy a good training knife instead.
Fun beginner butterfly knife

It’s a fun knife to play around with and for a beginner starting out this is the best at the price point. The only downside of this knife is that the latch can sometimes mess with some of the flips and the paint does come off on the handle pretty easily but for the price it’s a great bargain.
Great first knife.

Paint does sorta flake off, and my hand is a little blue BUT it flips well right out of the box, is sharp, lacks that "mirror finish" they talked about in the video but it still a fairly good quality knife.

I ordered this knife, and the expected due date was tomorrow, but I got it today. On top of that, I asked them to write Happy Birthday Cheese Cake Man, his nickname, and instead of printing it on there, someone actually took a sharpie and wrote it, WITH A LITTLE PICTURE OF A BALLOON. Amazed at quality and beyond satisfied.

This is a solid knife with pretty good quality. There are a couple major problems, however.

First, it's too small. This blade is tiny and can be difficult to flip.

Second problem is that there is no spring on the pin! This is a HUGE problem because when you work with some intermediate tricks the pin will fall in between the handles and get in the way. All in all this is a pretty durable and nice knife for beginner tricks.
Worth the cost, couple fixes!!!

This is definitely worth the cost as the handles are solid that are pined, so the only thing likely to happen is a pin will fall out which case you can re-pin them with ease. the only down side is that the latch will touch the blade and get in the way of some flips, but this shouldn't be a edc knife only a practice knife so just put a rubber band on the latch and your good to go.

It's a little stiff straight out of the box, but after some flipping, it loosened up pretty quickly. The latch is also very loose straight-out-of the box, so I wouldn't recommend it for EDC use, or anything like that. For flipping, though, it does its job well.

I've owned enough butterfly knives to know what will and wont fall apart on you, and its very simple. This is a very well balanced, well weighted, budget knife, that will take a ton of abuse. I don't drop my knives very often, but this is a well made one piece handle. this knife is pretty perfect, especially if this is your first real knife, and your looking for something you can drop and not have to worry about just breaking on you.
Good Condition

I just got this in today and I already cut myself. Haha, but it's all good. I had a trainer to begin with, but the scoundrel butterfly has a great weight and nice sharp blade straight out the package. It is pin construction so no worry about it loosening up, but it's great. Let's see how it holds up in the weeks to come but a great buy for the price.
