This knife will really make a statement. At 13" overall length, it's impressive to hold as well as look at. The polished, stainless steel bayonet blade is stamped "Made in Italy" on the tang. The nickel silver bolsters and buttons are a nice offset to the simulated dark horn scales. Brass pins and liners complete this classic look in an upscale size. Despite the additional length, the blade releases quickly and locks up tight. To release the blade, press down on the swinging bolster. The sliding safety protects against the accidental release of the blade. This is a knife you'll be proud to have in your collection.

But it's not perfect. First off, the button side scale is loose at the pommel end and you can see the tiny pin was not adequately tapped down. I fixed it by giving a sharp rap with a plastic mallet and the scale is nice and tight!
Fitment of the SKM is not equal to the Frank B. The back spring stands a little proud of the scales, and the edges around the pommel end aren't quite as smooth and even, but for the money, this is a very nice acquisition!
