While practicing using this knife for thrusting against three sheets of correlated taped to a two liter bottle of water, the tip bent pretty badly. Not a good thing for a fighting knife that depends on piercing to do its job. It's good for a collection, or as a 'live trainer' but, even though the bend was easily straitened, the tip is too weak for the knife to relied on as self-protection tool.
