The blade is not sharp. the Mechanism is a lil off but it works it’s a good price I’ve had it for like a year and still in one piece

When it come to automatic knives you get what you pay for so, with that in mind.

It failed on me with in the first hour of looking it over and working the action. It failed to lock when in the open position.

I was going to return it and they quickly approved it's return (good customer service). However I decided to keep it and use it as a learning tool to see how these function.

After pin-pointing the problem area it was a easy fix (was not the spring or locks themselves, the tang needed to be filed to allow locking mechanism to properly catch) and is working very well now.

I saw that the only reviews given were average or below, is I thought I'd provide my own review based on 34 years of engineering project management, which has me concluding that the low cost of this knife produced two (out of two) less-than satisfied owners, with a curious absence of any response from customer support.

a: The first owner lost a critical component to his knife, which was eventually lost. This was a missed opportunity to obtain timely support before well before the component was lost. Owners must take responsibility for their own property sooner or later.

b: The second review reporting the broken locking mechanism disturbs me; in the first place, the locking mechanism is there as a safety measure, just like the brakes on your vehicle. You do not ignore safety-related components - such liability can get crazy if lawyers bite down on such a case. That's why advising an owner how to repair a safety-related component is never advised. Nevertheless, this is an extraordinarily short time period for what is essentially a hand tool.

The second alarming aspect is that owner said "the 20 day policy" somehow prevented s/he from returning the broken knife; however, the website's stated policy is that "Returns are accepted, as long as they are initiated within 60 days of receiving your order."

Something is clearly wrong here. The data just doesn't add up even on the surface.

Each side of a transaction - a kind of contract with duties and responsibilities on both supplier and consumers. When reviewing this case, this system - as simple as it is - depends on equal measures of personal responsibility and corporate insight, and a commitment towards continuous quality improvement.

This is an opportunity to take a step forward and revise behavior and practices that will result in permanent and lasting change towards more positive outcomes - but most of all, to take online feedback with a grain or two of salt to help level out the questionable BS we see people write every day.

This knife has a nice weight to it. Works as advertised but there's slight movement when knife is out. The window breaker piece can't really be tighten down, it came off while I had it clipped to my belt and now is lost.

I purchased this knife and it worked great for a little over a month and the locking mechanism quit working and I was unable to fix it and the knife is useless at this point. Unfortunately I was also unable to return it due to the 20 day policy and the company did give me some tips on how to fix it and they did not work.
