The handle and blade have been machined to look like a chain is wrapping around the handle and down the spine of the blade. This not only looks awesome but adds texture to the handle and creates jimping down the spine of the handle and blade. The drop point blade is locked into place with a stainless steel liner lock that secures the blade with minimal blade play. So it not only looks cool but can be put to serious use.
