Good knife for being made in China
Scott B.
I like the edge on the knife and the ejection is positive. The AUS-8 steel blade is better than the 4034 in Schrade's other knives.

The spring assist is a bit awkward because of it's position. Other than that, the knife works quite well. It takes a bit of practice to learn how to open the knife in a stressful situation. Take your time with the mechanism and learn to manipulate it to your best advantage. As Chris said: "With a little practice, the blade can be opened & closed with one hand."

It's not bad. If you're a "quick study" you'll be all right.

Very nice knife with very fine sharp edge. Spring assist works good & fast. With little practice blade can be opened & closed one handed. This is my new EDC for years to come. Also there is an error listed in the specifications of this knife. BP has 4034 listed for blade steel, it's actually AUS-8 which contains vanadium for hardness & 4034 does not which makes it a softer steel. I was pleased as AUS-8 is a much better steel.
