Everything about this knife exceeds its value. The sheath is actually cleverly designed with a belt clip and a pant clip for securing it steadily to your leg/hip. This knife will not come out if you don't want it to, but if you do it slides with ease assuming you lubricate it. The ABS used in the sheath is really tough, and it has plenty of string holes and loops to wrap cords through.

Obviously, given the price, the steel isn't phenomenal but it is very thick to compensate. I've used this knife to pry open car trunks and other tough tasks without breakage, that is if you use the correct positioning and leverage it from it's strongest axis point.

Because the sheath is ABS and the steel is lower grade it does dull quickly, but it still puts on a good edge. It just doesn't hold it for super long if using it a lot. I could rarely see this being a problem throughout the course of one day anyway, and you can just resharpen it when you get home.

I find those Smith and Wesson auto-angled sharpeners are fast and easy to use on these knives and the whole line really. You can use a sharpening steel afterwards if you want to really hone in the edge, but remember no matter how sharp you get it, the knife will dull after short use.

Either way, it's a great carry for outdoors or whatever and if needed would be VERY dangerous on self defense. Especially with it being a fixed blade, if you keep it accessable there isn't too much wildlife that could survive a run in if things turned violent.

Great knife for the price, would highly recommend at least to have around. It's nice when you can have cheap, good knife laying around that you don't have to worry about damaging too much, especially when that knife almost always outperforms what you think it will.
Great Buy

A solid construction 440 steel Karambit for a good price, you may want to sand down the plastic-y grips that come on the handle, near the the finger hole because you can get some chafing from it.
Otherwise a great Budget Karambit.
