Description

The Kershaw Ken Onion Leek is one of the sleekest assisted opening knives around. This model features a stylish bead blast finished 14C28N stainless blade (plain edge) and 410 stainless steel framelock handle. The Leek features Kershaw's patented SpeedSafe technology. Give the ambidextrous thumb-stud a push and the knife takes over opening the blade the rest of the way. This is an ideal one-handed opener. Other features include frame lock design, reversible stainless pocket clip, and a tip safety lock so the blade won't fire by accident.

So, I’m one of those guys that has carried a pocket knife since I was a young boy. Taught by my dad to always have a knife in your pocket whenever you have your pants on. Never know when you may need to cut open a box, whittle a branch, carve a piece of fruit, etc. But then came along the restrictions by TSA and since I traveled so much, the knife stayed home. I got out of the habit of carrying one. Fast forward a few years, retired, so air travel was drastically reduced, and I found myself feeling partially naked without my trusty pocket knife. Somewhere along the line, I decided to get a new one. One that was a workhorse yet stylish. The Kershaw Leek with stainless scales fit the bill perfectly. A GREAT looking knife that takes and holds a very sharp edge and a blade shape that does many tasks easily, I couldn’t ask for a better knife.
Great knife. Can't go wrong with this one.

I've had a couple of these since they first came out. The torsion bar broke after a LOT of years of work and abuse on the first one and Kershaw sent me a new one free of charge. While I don't necessarily think torsion bars are the most reliable SA system out there, this one doesn't disappoint and the fact that Kershaw honors their warranty makes it a fantastic blade.
Excellent!

Razor sharp, heavy, very solid, very smooth and quick action. Very worth it.
