The Interceptor knives are spring assisted- just give the guard a push and the knife will propel the blade out the rest of the way automatically. The blade opens smoothly and locks up tight. The Interceptor has a liner lock that must be pushed to release the blade to close the knife. The knife also has a removable black coated steel pocket clip (tip up).
