The handle is made from authentic stag horn that has a rugged, old-fashioned quality to it. The action on this knife is quick and the lock up is solid. There is a sliding safety button on the front to protect against the accidental release of the blade.

Strong solid lock-up and fast action-The safety button is very stiff due to no clearance from the "nubs" on the stag horn handle scale. Some gaps between the brass liners-but is tightly assembled. Fit and finish is typical for an Italian Hand made knife.

Thank God for Frank Beltrame! Great quality knives at price most folks can afford...I have about 10 of his switchblades-9 and 11"-and never had an issue with any of them,always solid and well built.And now he's using 4mm backsprings instead of the 3.5 mm like he used to use.Awesome! Great service from Grindworx also..fast shipping and the best customer service1

My favorite so far and both knives I purchased from this company were both solid and fired fast. The stag handles are great and thick, nice!
More streamlined Than Same Model W/The Flat Grind Blade

Even better than the exact same model with the flat grind blade! Like comparing a Chevy to a Mercedes. This model is more streamlined compared to the "old school"spartan feel of the other plus this knife also has some weight to it. Lock up is even better and "Rock Solid" Period!!
