The Fenix LD40 features a Cree XP-G R4 Neutral White LED for more natural light, better color rendering and stronger penetration. The design allows comfortable grip and accommodates a deeper and larger reflector for better, longer beam throw. The LD40 uses 4 AA batteries and has two modes with seven types of output to balance the needs of bright light and long runtime (248 max lumens, 245 hour max runtime). The tactical push-button tail cap switch has a momentary-on function and a secondary dimmer switch to change modes and levels of output.
The lightweight and compact aluminum body is impact resistant and waterproof to IPX-8 Standard. The Fenix LD40 flashlight is a powerful all-around outdoor light with simple operation and great performance.
