The knife was supposed to be reminiscent of my late father's 1938 Latama Fishtail picklock. (A 10 3/4", 4mm back spring blade model made from 1095 carbon steel with Brazilian cow horn scales). This knife isn't quite the same but it brings back memories and is a fine reproduction.
(I am having my father's knife reproduced as you read this, but I still enjoy the modern AGA Campolin version)

My knife arrived, well packed. It had initial problems opening. There was a slight burr on the nob that locks the blade in place. Came right off with a nail file.

Work the action before lubing it. When smooth, wipe it down well and lube then. Nicest knife in my collection now
