This knife was a gift from my kids quite a number of moons ago. The date next to the blade-tip lock is Oct 02. After all the years of MUCH use it still appears and works as it did the day I received it, even with the small amount of wear & slight scratches on the Bead Blast finish. I use this knife a heck of a lot and toss a drop of oil at the hinge every few months. I like it so much I've actually purchased a couple as gifts for friends.
