Hubertus makes a quality knife. Perfect size for EDC and well constructed. Like all auto-knives with a leaf spring: this knife must be stored in the OPEN position when it is not being carried. I even leave mine open at night to "rest" the spring. Do this and it'll last forever.
A nice knife

This only goes for me, you decide. I have this knife, exact except that mine is a Western Germany. Mine was bought new in the early '90's. So, I would store mine closed for a couple weeks & open for a couple wks, rinse & repeat. It doesn't open by itself anymore & to get the blade out you have to treat it like opening a folder. If you don't give it a GOOD flick of the wrist while pushing the button You will not deploy it all the way. I don't know who to get it to so it can be fixed but I don't want to have to keep rebuilding it every 7-10 yrs. It will pass on to my boys when I'm gone, I would like it to work perfect forever - not that its gonna happen. What do I do? Jonesy at [email protected] for answers.
