This blade looks like something from a futuristic sci-fi movie, but it's got a lot of use right here and now. The double edged, black finish blade is made of 4034 stainless steel and has a scalloped design to the edge along with the Viper logo embossed in the middle. The aluminum handle has geometric designs to assist with grip and keep the knife from feeling too bulky or heavy in the hand. There is a sliding safety mechanism to prevent the blade from opening accidentally, and a glass breaker tip on the end of the handle makes this a great tool to keep in a car or 72-Hour kit.

I owned this knife for 3 years and I beat it to hell seriously I sharpened hundreds of pencils of sharpened dozens of sticks for fires and camping I've opened countless boxes and I was not gentle with it unfortunately it just broke on me a month ago but it's a great price and it will last you a long time even if you're not being gentle with it I received it razor sharp

Love the blade on this one, it comes razor sharp as well. The action is super fast & smooth, and when the blade is locked out there is zero play whatsoever. At first I thought the controls were in awkward places, but now I can open & close it one handed easier than any of Schrade's other single actions. Solid knife for the price!

Great knife. Bought over a year ago, still sharp as the day i bought it. Never had to sharpen so far. Reason for 4 stars out of 5 is after a while it doesn't fully open without help after a while. (Example) when I first bought it I needed to barely push on the side switch (with safety off) and it would shoot right up and click into place. Just slowly wore down and it needs to be pushed up to hear the click now.
