This is the first tactical pen that I have ever bought. Sturdy construction and writes really well. The pen is easily accessible and the cap goes right on the end. Comes in sweet box which is cool to keep it in. Overall, definite recommendation for the price.
For the price, it's a good tac pen

I've been carrying this thing for about two years, ever since I lost my CRKT Tao and couldn't afford to replace it — had to go a little cheaper and got this one. For the low price, this one is not bad. It tends to come loose in places (like the carbide glass breaker) but you can tighten them again or just use red Loctite which I haven't done yet. The cap doesn't screw onto the back end, so when you're writing with it you have to hold the cap or put it somewhere you won't lose it. The thing I liked a lot about my CRKT Tao was that it didn't look that aggressive and I got onto airplanes and into Federal buildings, no problem. This one looks a little more aggressive and I've gotten into the courthouse with it, but haven't tried an airplane yet. Anyway, for $17 it's a good pen to have as a back up until I can afford to get something nicer/better.
