This Monarch butterfly knife has a slim design and superb action for a budget balisong and the blade has dull edges, great for use as a trainer. Black finished 440 stainless steel blade with strap cutter hook and box wrench cut-outs (1/8", 1/4", 3/8"). The handles are black coated steel with parallelogram cutouts that look great and offer improved grip. The knife is constructed with Torx screws for easy adjustment of the knife.

Please Note: As with all butterfly knives, please be sure to maintain and tighten the screws, especially the pivot screws. We recommend using a threadlocker (Click HERE!) for best results. Adjust with care, we do not warrant stripped screws!

This is not a scam or a cheesy review, just an over excited teen who got what he wanted. I got two one for me and my friend, we bought it through my grandma. Overall I'm very satisfied with it. Upon opening I noticed it was smaller then I thought and that the latch wasn't able to close when the 'knife' was out, but I really like the way it looks. And I like the fact it came in 4 days, (one day under the expected minimum). Just a quick note the latch seems a little chipped but I don't mind. I'll update (if I can) on future problems/tips for this specific trainer. It's a great buy.

Bought because of the look. I personally wouldn't try and use the tools but may be possible.
