This Frank B swinguard knife has a rugged, classic stlye. It features a satin finish, dagger stainless steel blade paired with rustic stag horn scales on the handles. The firing button, bolsters, and sliding safety on the knife's front handle are satin finished nickel silver. The brass pins and liners add a true glow to this piece. The action is quick and the lock back is secure. This is an awesome addition to any Italian collection.

It is absolutely magnificent! Frank B. outshines all others for fit and finish. I also have an AKC swinguard and it's no match to this one. 10 stars for Frank B and Bladeplay! I'll be back!

But, the blade steel sucks. It came pretty dull and will not take an edge. I am an experienced sharpener with too notch stones (DMT) so it was much to my chagrin that try and I might it will not take an edge. I have come to believe that that steel was not tempered. The specs say that the blade is 404 stainless but there are many flavors of 404 steel. Not all of it is good for blades.
This knife is a looker but I like my knives sharp even if they are not to be carried. Like a silk pocket square that's good for showing but not for blowing.
